Thank you for taking the time to explore my page and learn more about me. I have spent almost 10 years in the tech industry, spending time in Sales and Learning and Development. I take pride in my work and am excited by helping other professionals do their best work.
My career first began in 2011, experimenting and dipping my toes in Sales at both Enterprise-Rent-A-Car and Indeed. I learned all about customer service, and how to provide value to potential clients based on their specific needs. I enjoyed the in person sales environment at Enterprise, and expanded my expertise in over the phone sales when I moved full time to Indeed.
After three years gaining valuable sales experience, it was time for my next adventure, moving to the Learning & Development organization at Indeed. I quickly began partnering with Sales leaders to uncover what their specific training needs for their teams may be. I then began working directly with Sales reps, coaching and mentoring to help them achieve their revenue goals. While working with the Sales teams, I was working a side-hustle, training Research and Development (R&D) professionals on Indeed’s systems and products. This request came from the R&D business leaders, out of a need to provide their people with the proper product information so they could continue to innovate and create new client solutions.
The side hustle quickly became my full-time gig, receiving funding from the business within 18 months. Since joining this new team, I have taken on many more responsibilities. I have managed and coached multiple junior team members from around the globe and helped them excel into their next roles. I have handled tough conversations, set individual goals and KPI’s for others that align to the larger business, and partnered with other L&D managers to work on projects that align to our company goals.
Over the last three years I have worked to develop and enhance my instructional design knowledge and experience. I have applied my knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies to a global onboarding program that supported over 15,000 employees and created from the ground up a global shadowing program, enabling members from all parts of the business to shadow client facing teams.
